Born in Los Angeles and raised mostly in Arkansas, with summers spent back in LA, ProKid is a music producer and audio engineer whose career spans over two decades of shaping the sound of hip-hop and beyond. From his earliest days building beats to engineering sessions alongside some of the genre's most recognized names, ProKid has dedicated his life to the art and science of sound.
His journey through the industry took him to Hot Beats Studios in Atlanta, where he interned under the legendary engineer Seth Firkins. There, he witnessed the creation of landmark albums and saw firsthand the formation of Young Money as a label powerhouse. That experience forged a standard of excellence that has defined his work ever since.
Having produced thousands of instrumentals and built a digital catalog that once drew over 10,000 plays daily, ProKid has proven his ability to craft records that connect with listeners on a massive scale. Today, as President of Lovemore Recordings—a former record label turned professional recording studio in downtown Springdale, AR—he channels that same energy into engineering, mentorship, and community-driven music initiatives across Arkansas.
